How is Kuih Momo made? This delicacy consist of butter, ghee and flour. Some recipes in Kuching uses ground peanuts or almonds in the batter as well. To have the perfect round shape, sugar is not added in the batter as to not harden it during the baking in the oven. Each ball is made by hand so there is consistency size. After baking, icing sugar is sprinkled or rolled around Kueh Momo as the finishing touch.
